In the absence of preventive action, the design and operating conditions of cooling towers create favourable conditions for the proliferation of Legionella bacteria and their dispersal in the atmosphere.The treatment programme provided by PERMO combats the scaling, corrosion and bacterial development phenomena which directly or indirectly increase the risks of Legionella bacteria proliferation. |
To manage and control the performance of cooling systems:

When you entrust the monitoring of your system to our teams you benefit from PERMO's expertise in preventing Legionella risks:
- Analytical surveillance: Regular analyses of the characteristics of water in circulation and close monitoring of the treatments being applied so as to ensure that your processes are performing their function of protection against corrosion, scaling and bacterial growth.
- Cleaning and disinfection of cooling circuits: PERMO has suitable product techniques for any type of cooling system fouling and appropriate procedures and partners for their implementation.
- Legionella analyses: PERMO works hand in hand with laboratories accredited for the analysis of the Legionella factor (French standard NF T90-431)
- Operating manual: In compliance with regulations which require the monitoring of your units to be traceable, we provide you with a document for your water system in which you must record all operations carried out and the results obtained.
- Training of staff in Legionella risks: All staff involved must have a certificate of training in Legionella risks (decree dated 13th December 2004). PERMO is accredited to provide you with this training. When the training is complete each participant will receive a proper certificate of training (PERMO is registered as a training body under approval n° 11 93 04002 93)
- Review of methodical risk analysis PERMO engineers take part in your methodical risk analyses so as to contribute their knowledge and propose improvements
